Beast King is a creature in the service of Dark Dragon. He is the 1st area's boss in Shining Soul and is displeased with the player having killed his fellow beasts. He engages in battle and attacks by curling himself into a sphere and rolling around in straight lines.
He also fires blasts out of the snakes on his head when running low on HP. After he is slain, he expresses disbelief in his besting and how he wants to crush mortals as he hates them.
