Lowe is a playable Priest in the games Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention and Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon and an advisor in Shining Force Gaiden and Shining Force CD.

As a Priest, Lowe wears a yellow and green healer's robe. As a Vicar, he still wears yellow and green, but it is a more movable-friendly outfit and he has added a green Vicar's hat. Lowe has grey hair and grey eyes.

Lowe always seems to have a cheerful disposition and cares a great deal for Max. In Shining Force CD, he stays by Queen Anri's side as an advisor. He also loves eating.

He is a early game healer, introduced to the player to teach them about healing. Since he learns spells quicker, he completes with Gong as a healer for much of the early game. He is a decent fighter, allowing him to continue fighting for the Force when his MP runs dry. Since Healers gain XP from healing, he need never be involved with fighting to gain XP.

Once Gong learns high enough spells, he overtakes Lowe as a fighter, proving much more useful. Even without Gong taken into account, there are plenty of strong physical fighters then Lowe. Even as a healer, his advantages are short lived; in the final Chapter 1 battle the player gains Khris. Once Khris and Gong both learn Aura, Lowe starts falling behind. By the time Torasu joins, is completely redundant as a healer. Also, with Aura, he is slow to gain XP if used for healing alone.

  • When he joins the Shining Force: "Hey, Max! Don't try to sneak out of town without me!"
  • In the Castle of Guardiana
Soldier: "Queen Anri! Messengers from Cypress have arrived at our gates!"
Lowe: "What!? What do they want with us? Your Majesty, they are barbarians. They bring only trouble!"
  • On the ship ride to Cypress
Dark Mage: "So this is the great Shining Force that will save Gardiana?! Won't Woldol be scared when I tell him! Why, you're just a bunch of kids!"
Lowe: "Don't underestimate them, Wizard. It might be the last mistake you ever make."
  • At the Cypress port
Lowe: "Nick hasn't spoken since we found out he was a Cypress prince."
Gyan: "Why?"
Lowe: "Nick didn't tell us the truth about his origins. Frankly, we're not sure we can trust Nick..."
Gyan: "You MUST trust him! He went to Gardiana to save your country! He is a noble warrior, and the rightful King of Cypress! He wanted to stay and avenge his father, but he went to help you first."
Lowe: "Nick! You should have told us... Though I'm not sure we would have believed you... But we're with you now. And we'll help you avenge your father!"
  • Outside the castle of Cypress
Geppel: "Dantom and the others taught you well. But you won't find Bazoo and Frabell so easy to conquer. Woldol has enhanced their strength!"
Lowe: "Then they'll be a more interesting challenge! Nick! Come on! Let's go get 'em!"
