Zynk, (Bakkasu, or Bacchus, in Japanese), is a playable character in Shining Force II: Ancient Sealing. Zynk is a mechanical soldier, a creation of The Ancients, who is reactivated after centuries of slumber and joins the Shining Force.
Background
A robot that is found later in the game. Many people think that he is Adam from Shining Force, but his face and past is never revealed.
Personality
Strategy
Zync is the successor to Adam from the previous game. He has a high attack, with a mid HP and defense growth.
He cannot promote like Adam could. He is slow and lacks speed. He lacks a weapon and will fall behind if not careful.
Powers & Magic
Zynk uses no magic, but in battle he can sometimes attack the enemy with a laser.

- In the UKs "Sonic the Comic" series, one of their guest story was based on a combined elements from both Shining Force: The Legacy of Great Intention and the events of Shining Force 2: Ancient Sealing. Zynk is the name of a character within the strip, but his appearance was very different in the strip.
